Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Film Editor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the Consumer Goods sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of the editing process, with the ability to turn raw footage into engaging narratives that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the vision and goals of our marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.
- Review and select the best footage, applying a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production standards.
- Incorporate graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance the overall storytelling experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
- Maintain organized files and archives of all video content, ensuring easy access for future projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in film editing technologies and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our video content.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during brainstorming sessions to elevate the overall production value.
- Assist in the development of storyboards and outlines for new projects, contributing to the creative process from the ground up.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in film editing, preferably within the consumer goods or marketing industry.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
- Excellent storytelling skills with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly through visual media.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and able to manage individual projects.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
- Familiarity with consumer goods marketing strategies and target audience insights is advantageous.
