Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Operations Program Manager to lead and enhance our food logistics and transportation operations in Ajman. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food supply chain management, logistics, and operational excellence within the food industry. This role is essential for ensuring that our food transport and logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of food transportation and logistics, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

- Program Development: Develop, implement, and manage programs that enhance operational effectiveness, reduce costs, and improve service delivery in food logistics.

- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of food products from source to consumer.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations are compliant with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and transportation laws. Regularly review and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance.

- Performance Monitoring: Analyze logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operations.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for food operations, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all logistics activities.

- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges.

- Technology Integration: Work with IT and logistics teams to implement and leverage technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends in food logistics and transportation and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing food transportation programs and improving operational efficiencies.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
