Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our retail food service operations in Dubai. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service while managing a team dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen business acumen, and a passion for the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement.

- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.

- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times, addressing any customer feedback or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and increase customer loyalty.

- Financial Management:
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and profit and loss statements, to ensure financial goals are met.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions and compliance with financial regulations.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational standards are met.

- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and campaigns that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Organize events and special promotions to attract customers and increase foot traffic.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a retail setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
- Proven experience in financial management and budgeting.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a multicultural environment, with an understanding of diverse culinary preferences.
- Bilingual abilities are an advantage, particularly in Arabic and English.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene management.
