Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the outdoor spaces of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant and professional environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Landscape Maintenance: Regularly maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces by mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning. Ensure that the landscape is healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and conducive to a professional setting.

- Plant Care: Select, plant, and care for various types of plants, flowers, and shrubs that are suitable for the local climate. Monitor plant health and implement pest control measures as needed.

- Irrigation Management: Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Monitor water usage and optimize irrigation schedules to promote sustainability.

- Seasonal Planning: Assist in planning seasonal planting and landscaping projects. Collaborate with team members to design and implement new garden layouts and features that enhance the overall landscape.

- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any repairs or replacements needed in a timely manner.

- Waste Management: Manage garden waste by composting or disposing of it responsibly. Ensure the outdoor areas are clean and free of debris.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the facilities management team and other departments to meet landscaping needs and support various company events.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing gardening tasks. Ensure that safety protocols are followed when working with chemicals or heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture, preferably in a commercial or corporate setting.
- Knowledge of local flora and horticultural practices suitable for the Dubai climate.
- Experience with irrigation systems and pest management.
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in horticulture or landscaping is a plus.
- Previous experience working in an organization within the telecommunications industry is advantageous.
