Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Genomics Technician to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The Genomics Technician will be responsible for conducting various laboratory procedures related to genomics and molecular biology to support our healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in genomics, molecular biology, and laboratory techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Perform DNA and RNA extraction, purification, and quantification
- Conduct polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and other molecular biology techniques
- Perform next-generation sequencing (NGS) and genotyping assays
- Analyze and interpret genomic data
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the development and optimization of genomics protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
- Keep accurate records of experiments and results

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Genetics, or related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in genomics or molecular biology
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, and NGS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of genomics software and bioinformatics tools is a plus
