Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geoscientist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on innovative solutions within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in geosciences to support a wide range of projects, including satellite imaging, environmental assessments, and resource exploration, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological and geophysical surveys to gather and analyze data relevant to aerospace and defense projects.
- Utilize advanced geospatial analysis techniques, including GIS and remote sensing, to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate geoscientific data into aerospace applications, including navigation systems and environmental impact assessments.
- Develop and implement models to simulate geological processes and assess potential risks associated with aerospace operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including technical teams and executive management.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in geoscience technologies, particularly in their application to aerospace and defense.
- Participate in fieldwork and site assessments as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in geoscience, preferably within the aerospace or defense sectors.
- Proficient in geospatial software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of geophysical methods and their applications in exploration and environmental assessments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices in environmental assessment and geoscience practices.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with satellite imagery analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of remote sensing technologies and their applications in defense systems.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
