Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hearing Aid Specialist Assistant to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceuticals sector. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to our Hearing Aid Specialists and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about audiology and hearing health, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to help others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Hearing Aid Specialists in conducting hearing assessments and evaluations for clients of all ages.
- Prepare and maintain audiology equipment and ensure that all devices are clean, functional, and properly calibrated.
- Help with fitting and adjusting hearing aids, ensuring they meet the specific needs of clients.
- Provide clients with instructions on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Schedule appointments for clients and manage the calendar of the Hearing Aid Specialists.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records, including hearing test results, fittings, and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote hearing health services.
- Educate clients on the importance of hearing health and the benefits of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certificate in audiology or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or audiology setting preferred, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hearing aid technology and audiometric equipment is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software for record-keeping and client management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
