Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Al Ain within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in our office facilities. This role is crucial to ensuring a pleasant and productive atmosphere for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming office areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Ensure all facilities are stocked with necessary supplies, such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of meeting rooms, conference areas, and reception areas.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and routines, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of company events and meetings, ensuring that all areas are prepared and cleaned afterward.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the workplace.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a corporate or office environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
