Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing and operational processes in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, and proven leadership abilities. This role will be crucial in ensuring that our operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and production staff to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s objectives and enhance productivity.

- Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO and AS9100, to maintain high-quality output.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and drive quality improvements.

- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to support project goals.

- Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and components for production.
- Negotiate with suppliers and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved service delivery.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Champion a culture of safety within the organization, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with all operational standards and regulations.

- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending solutions to senior management.
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial operations management, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.
