Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Molding Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in Al Ain. The successful candidate will work closely with the Injection Molding Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of injection molding processes for various energy-related applications. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of injection molds and tooling, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize injection molding processes, including cycle time reduction, quality improvement, and cost reduction strategies.
- Conduct material selection and evaluation for various injection molding applications, focusing on performance and sustainability.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Assist in the setup and operation of injection molding machines, ensuring optimal production conditions.
- Collect and analyze data on production efficiency, quality control, and process variations to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in product testing and validation processes, documenting results and making recommendations based on findings.
- Support the implementation of safety and environmental protocols in the injection molding area to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and production, to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes, materials used, and project documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in injection molding or manufacturing processes, preferably within the energy sector or related industries.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mold design and tooling layouts.
- Strong understanding of injection molding principles, materials, and machine operation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to injection molding operations is a plus.
