Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding processes, materials, and engineering principles, with a passion for developing innovative solutions that enhance product efficiency and quality. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and troubleshoot injection molding processes to meet our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize injection molding processes for various energy-related components and products.
- Collaborate with product design engineers to ensure manufacturability of designs and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct material selection and testing to ensure compatibility and performance of injection molded parts.
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify mold designs, tooling, and fixtures.
- Monitor and analyze production processes, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve molding issues, including cycle times, defects, and machine setup discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, mold designs, and process parameters.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices in injection molding and machine operation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and maintain competitiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance overall operational performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in injection molding, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of injection molding machinery, tooling, and materials.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Moldflow analysis.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools, including Six Sigma or ISO standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information:
- This position may require occasional travel to suppliers or production sites.
- The role may involve working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production processes.
