Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Claims Clerk to join our dynamic team in the education sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing insurance claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process insurance claims related to educational institutions, including claims for property damage, liability, and student-related incidents.
- Collect and verify necessary documentation from claimants, including incident reports, receipts, and policy information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims, ensuring data integrity in the claims management system.
- Communicate with policyholders, educational administrators, and insurance adjusters to gather additional information and clarify claim details.
- Assess claims for validity based on policy coverage and established guidelines, making recommendations for approval or denial.
- Prepare and submit reports on claims status and trends to management, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of claims processing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from clients and stakeholders regarding claim status and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in insurance claims management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related role, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processing procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and claims management software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
