Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the energy sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and a proven track record of successfully managing multiple technology programs and projects within the energy industry. This role is crucial for driving the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions that support our organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Management: Lead and manage multiple IT programs and projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Develop program and project plans, including scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders including senior management, business units, IT teams, and external vendors to define program requirements and ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.

- Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation for programs and projects, ensuring that the right skills are available and utilized effectively. Mentor and guide project managers and team members to enhance their performance.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact program delivery. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and performance. Regularly report on progress, performance, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across the organization. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to support user adoption.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with financial targets. Conduct regular financial reviews to monitor expenditures and forecast future needs.

- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all IT programs and projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT program and project management, preferably within the energy sector.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and emerging technologies relevant to the energy industry.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT programs on time and within budget.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
