Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Program Manager to oversee and manage multiple technology initiatives within the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT project management, particularly in healthcare settings, and will be responsible for ensuring that all programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to improve healthcare services through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and implementation of IT programs and projects within the healthcare environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including data privacy and security requirements, throughout all IT initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology improvements and enhancements in healthcare delivery and patient care.
- Facilitate training and development programs for staff to ensure effective utilization of new technologies and systems.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT programs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in healthcare technology and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT program or project management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT programs and projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and health information management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the UAE context.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
