Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee and manage the cleaning operations within our agricultural facilities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our staff and agricultural products. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the janitorial staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols in accordance with health and safety regulations specific to the agricultural sector.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate janitorial staff to ensure they meet the operational standards and adhere to safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and identify areas for improvement, addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools, ensuring that all materials are stocked and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with management to establish cleaning budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Address and resolve any employee or operational issues related to cleaning services, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Prepare reports on cleaning operations, staff performance, and compliance with cleaning standards for management review.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, communication, and professionalism among janitorial staff.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in facilities management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial services or facilities management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with sustainable cleaning practices and eco-friendly products.
- Experience in training and developing staff in cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Knowledge of pest control and sanitation practices within agricultural settings.
