We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Lactation Nurse to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Lactation Nurse will be responsible for providing support and education to new mothers on breastfeeding techniques and practices. This position is based in a manufacturing setting, where employees may require assistance with lactation and breastfeeding support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments of breastfeeding mothers and infants to ensure proper latch and feeding techniques
- Providing education and support to new mothers on breastfeeding benefits, techniques, and positions
- Assisting mothers with any breastfeeding challenges or concerns they may have
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to breastfeeding mothers and infants
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Participating in breastfeeding education programs for employees in the manufacturing setting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in Abu Dhabi
- Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
- Minimum of 2-8 years of experience as a Lactation Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
