We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lactation Nurse to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Lactation Nurse will be responsible for providing expert breastfeeding support and education to new mothers working in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting breastfeeding assessments and providing guidance and support to new mothers.
- Assisting new mothers with latching techniques and addressing any breastfeeding challenges they may face.
- Educating new mothers on proper breastfeeding positions and techniques.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall health and well-being of both mother and baby.
- Developing and implementing breastfeeding education programs for construction industry employees.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in Abu Dhabi.
- Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Lactation Nurse.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in lactation support.
