Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all laundry services within the facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining hygiene standards and assisting in the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and finishing equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning properly.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures and standards.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all laundry supplies and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laundry equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and health regulations.
- Assist in the training of new employees on proper laundry procedures and equipment usage.
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Respond promptly to requests for laundry services from various departments within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry activities, including weights, quantities, and any issues encountered during the process.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial laundry or similar environment.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and chemicals used in the washing and drying process.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

- Proficient in operating various types of laundry machinery.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Work Conditions:

- The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat and humidity from laundry operations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
