We are seeking an experienced Magazine Editor to join our team in Sharjah, focusing on healthcare content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing and writing, with a passion for healthcare topics and trends. This role involves overseeing the content creation process, managing a team of writers and contributors, and ensuring that the magazine meets its goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute editorial strategies for the magazine, in line with the target audience and market trends
- Manage a team of writers, photographers, and designers to create engaging and informative content
- Edit and proofread articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the magazine's style guide
- Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing layouts and graphics
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to promote the magazine and increase readership
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry news and trends, and incorporate relevant topics into the editorial calendar
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and gather content ideas
- Ensure that the magazine meets its production deadlines and budget constraints

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
- [X] years of experience in editing and writing, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong editorial skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital publishing platforms
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
