Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment within our healthcare facility are maintained, repaired, and operating efficiently. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the healthcare facility, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and medical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical installations, ensuring they meet industry standards and facility requirements.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules to limit disruption to healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance protocols and procedures to enhance the efficiency and safety of electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide support during power outages or other electrical failures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical codes, technology, and best practices, participating in ongoing training and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or commercial environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency backup systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards related to electrical maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Working Conditions:

- The role may require working in various environments within the healthcare facility, including patient areas, mechanical rooms, and outdoor spaces.
- May involve occasional on-call duties to respond to electrical emergencies outside of regular working hours.
