Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Mall Security Guard Assistant to join our security team in a bustling mall environment in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for all visitors while leveraging information technology to enhance security measures. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of security protocols in a retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the head security guard in monitoring mall premises to ensure a safe environment for shoppers, employees, and tenants.
- Conduct regular patrols of the mall, observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Utilize surveillance technology, including CCTV and alarm systems, to monitor activities and respond to incidents as they arise.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, providing timely and accurate information regarding incidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting mall visitors, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with mall security policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols.
- Participate in the development and implementation of security training programs for new staff, focusing on the integration of technology in security practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and any unusual activities, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
- Engage in regular meetings with the security team to discuss ongoing security challenges and improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and practices relevant to the retail environment, and suggest enhancements to current systems.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or IT is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security role, preferably in a retail or mall setting.
- Proficient in using security technology and surveillance equipment.
- Basic knowledge of information technology concepts related to security systems.
- Strong observational and analytical skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
