Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Marriage Counselor Assistant to join our team in Dubai’s dynamic and diverse environment. This unique position combines the fields of marriage counseling and information technology, aiming to enhance the delivery of relationship support services through innovative tech solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of mental health principles, and a background in IT or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Support:
- Assist marriage counselors in conducting initial assessments and intake interviews with clients.
- Provide empathetic support to couples undergoing counseling sessions, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

2. Technology Integration:
- Collaborate with marriage counselors to utilize technology-driven tools and platforms for improving client engagement and session tracking.
- Help maintain and troubleshoot counseling software and applications used for client management and session documentation.

3. Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, session notes, and progress reports using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Analyze data trends related to client outcomes and feedback to assist counselors in tailoring their approaches.

4. Research and Development:
- Conduct research on new technologies and methodologies in marriage counseling to support the development of innovative services.
- Assist in creating and maintaining educational materials and resources for clients and counseling staff.

5. Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate follow-up communications between clients and counselors.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and responding to client inquiries.

6. Community Outreach:
- Support outreach initiatives to promote counseling services and resources within the community.
- Participate in workshops and events to educate the public on relationship health and the importance of counseling.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling or support role, preferably in a mental health or relationship-focused capacity.
- Familiarity with counseling practices and mental health support, with a passion for helping couples navigate their challenges.
- Strong proficiency in technology, including experience with counseling software, EHR systems, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and work collaboratively with a team.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
