We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical research and be able to effectively manage and organize a wide range of medical resources for our financial services firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize a collection of medical books, journals, and online resources
- Assist employees in accessing and utilizing medical information for research and decision-making purposes
- Stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and trends in the financial services industry
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate and relevant information is available to employees
- Develop and implement cataloging systems to ensure easy access to medical resources
- Provide training and support to employees on how to effectively use medical resources
- Stay informed on copyright laws and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to support research projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Librarian in a corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and research methods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in library management software and online databases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
