Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector, based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies that align with our business objectives, drive sales growth, and enhance customer engagement. You will play a crucial role in managing product assortments, promotions, and inventory, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of our diverse clientele, including government and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies for Aerospace and Defense products that align with market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.

- Product Management: Oversee product lifecycle management, including product selection, pricing, placement, and promotion for a diverse range of aerospace and defense merchandise.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation within the industry.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure successful execution of merchandising initiatives.

- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.

- Promotions & Campaigns: Design and implement promotional campaigns and merchandising plans that drive customer engagement and sales, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on merchandising performance, sales trends, and inventory metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and preferences to tailor merchandising strategies effectively.

- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all merchandising practices comply with industry regulations and standards, particularly within the aerospace and defense sectors.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance customer experience.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Excellent project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behaviors in the Aerospace and Defense sector.

- Proficiency in merchandising software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
