Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Merchandising Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on the energy sector. This role is pivotal in developing and executing merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales across our diverse energy product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in merchandising, brand management, and market analysis, paired with a passion for the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
- Program Management: Oversee the development and execution of merchandising programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure seamless program execution.
- Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to create compelling product assortments that meet market demand. Provide input on product features, packaging, and pricing strategies to optimize sales performance.
- Brand Management: Enhance brand visibility and presence through effective merchandising initiatives. Develop promotional strategies that resonate with target audiences, including in-store displays, digital content, and marketing collateral.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies. Prepare regular reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of merchandising materials. Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives to enhance product visibility.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams on merchandising best practices and product knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards in all merchandising activities. Maintain high-quality standards for all merchandising materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing merchandising programs from concept to execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and merchandising software/tools.
- Knowledge of energy products and market dynamics is a plus.
