Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mining Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Mining Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures within our mining operations in the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining safety and compliance, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of mining operations to identify and address potential safety hazards
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors on proper safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mining safety to continuously improve safety standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Mining Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of [random number] years of experience in mining safety management
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
