Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mining Technician to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the extraction and processing of raw materials used in the production of pharmaceutical products. This position requires a strong understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and quality control measures to ensure that all materials meet the stringent standards required in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Extraction Operations: Conduct mining operations to extract raw materials, ensuring adherence to operational standards and safety protocols. Monitor the extraction process and adjust parameters as necessary to optimize yield and efficiency.

- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on mined materials to ensure compliance with industry standards. Analyze samples using appropriate testing methods and report findings to management.

- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain mining equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, coordinating with maintenance teams for major repairs.

- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of mining operations, production outputs, and quality control results. Utilize software systems to track inventory and report on operational performance.

- Safety Compliance: Ensure all mining activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety among team members.

- Collaboration: Work closely with geologists, engineers, and other technical staff to assess resource potential and plan extraction strategies. Participate in site assessments and contribute to project planning.

- Training and Development: Assist in training new staff on mining procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices. Share knowledge and best practices to foster a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Qualifications:

- A diploma or degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mining operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment and operational safety standards.
- Proficient in data analysis and quality control procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.

Skills:

- Proficiency in mining software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
