Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Museum Archivist. As the Museum Archivist, you will be responsible for managing and preserving our extensive collection of historical artifacts and documents. Your primary role will be to ensure that all items in our collection are properly cataloged, stored, and accessible for research and educational purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Catalog and organize artifacts, documents, and other items in the museum's collection
- Create and maintain detailed records of each item, including descriptions, provenance, and condition
- Monitor and control access to the collection, ensuring the security and preservation of all items
- Collaborate with museum staff, researchers, and educators to provide access to the collection for exhibitions, research projects, and educational programs
- Assist in the development of educational materials and resources based on the collection
- Stay current on best practices in archival management and preservation techniques
- Handle inquiries from the public regarding the collection and provide assistance as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Library Science, History, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in a museum or archive setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of archival principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in database management and cataloging software
- Familiarity with the history and culture of the UAE is a plus
