Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s network infrastructure within the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The Network Manager will collaborate with various departments to support operational needs and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement robust network architectures that support the organization’s goals and objectives, ensuring seamless connectivity between various departments and facilities.

- Network Security Management: Develop and enforce network security policies and protocols to protect sensitive pharmaceutical data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA).

- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and optimize network efficiency.

- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for network-related problems, coordinating with IT teams to ensure quick resolution of issues.

- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and procure networking equipment and services, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and organizational needs.

- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Prepare regular reports on network performance and incidents for management review.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and professional development.

- Project Management: Oversee network-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all network operations adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network management or a similar role within the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security, and technologies (e.g., LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
