Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our innovative team in the telecommunications sector in Dubai. The OTA will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who have experienced physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges related to their work in telecommunications. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients in the telecommunications industry.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to assist in determining appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities that promote skill development, rehabilitation, and independence, focusing on tasks relevant to the telecommunications field.
- Monitor and document client progress, providing feedback to the occupational therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and strategies to overcome challenges in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of occupational therapy.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions and documentation.

Qualifications:

- A recognized degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistance from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or telecommunications sector.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Proficiency in technology and the use of telecommunication tools to facilitate therapy sessions and document client progress.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and best practices in occupational therapy.

- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
