Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our employees within the consumer goods sector. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, compliance with local labor laws, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and bonuses, while verifying the accuracy of timesheets and employee data.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations regarding payroll practices.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to government authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate employee records within the payroll system, including personal information, salary changes, and employment status.
- Regularly update and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide support for employee onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll.
- System Administration:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software systems, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Year-End Activities:
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting and reconciliation.
- Support the preparation of annual payroll budget forecasts in collaboration with the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems and payroll management software.
- Professional certification in payroll or HR management (e.g., CPP, PHR) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
