Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist Assistant to join our healthcare team within the telecommunications sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support our medical professionals in providing high-quality healthcare services to our employees and clients. This role requires an understanding of phlebotomy procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed phlebotomists in the collection of blood samples from patients, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare patients for blood draws by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Properly label and store blood samples for laboratory analysis.
- Document patient information and sample collection details accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Monitor and manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment, ensuring all materials are stocked and available.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations within the telecommunications environment.
- Provide compassionate support to patients during the blood collection process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to report any patient concerns or complications during the phlebotomy process.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on phlebotomy techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist or in a related healthcare role.
- Knowledge of blood collection techniques, laboratory safety standards, and infection control practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other medical software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a telecommunications setting is a plus, but not mandatory.
