Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong medical background, with a focus on providing healthcare support to personnel involved in aviation and defense operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique medical challenges faced by professionals in high-stress and high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for personnel engaged in aerospace and defense activities, including pre-employment assessments, routine health check-ups, and periodic medical examinations.
- Develop and implement health surveillance programs tailored to the specific needs of employees within the Aerospace and Defense sector, ensuring compliance with national and international health regulations.
- Provide immediate medical care and first aid in emergency situations, including managing acute injuries and illnesses that may arise during training or operational missions.
- Collaborate with occupational health and safety teams to assess potential health risks associated with aerospace operations, such as exposure to hazardous materials, high altitudes, and other environmental factors.
- Design and deliver health education and wellness programs aimed at promoting overall health and well-being among personnel, focusing on stress management, nutrition, and physical fitness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Stay current with medical advancements and relevant aerospace and defense medical protocols, participating in continuous professional development and training.
- Act as a medical advisor to leadership on health-related issues, providing insights that can contribute to strategic decision-making regarding personnel health and safety.
- Participate in research initiatives within the Aerospace and Defense sector to enhance understanding of health impacts and develop innovative solutions for health challenges.
- Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with other healthcare professionals, engineers, and safety specialists to foster a holistic approach to employee health and safety.

Qualifications:

- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years of experience in aerospace medicine, occupational health, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and practices relevant to the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Proficient in using medical software and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in Aerospace Medicine or Occupational Medicine.
- Experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of psychological aspects of high-performance environments.
