Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pilot Instructor with a strong background in Information Technology to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to aspiring pilots in the realm of aviation technology, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate advanced flight simulation systems and understand the integration of IT in modern aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement comprehensive training programs for pilot trainees, focusing on the application of information technology in aviation.
- Conduct theoretical and practical instruction on flight simulation software, aircraft systems, and IT integration in aviation operations.
- Evaluate and assess trainees' performance through examinations, practical assessments, and real-time simulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation technology advancements and regulatory requirements to ensure training programs are current and compliant.
- Collaborate with other instructors and educational staff to enhance curriculum development and training methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Prepare and maintain training materials, manuals, and instructional aids to facilitate effective teaching.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance instructional skills and knowledge of aviation IT systems.
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed during training sessions and simulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Aviation Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pilot training environment or related field, with a strong emphasis on IT applications in aviation.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with flight simulation software and aviation technology systems.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proficient in using modern instructional technology and tools for effective teaching.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse learning styles.
