Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Policy Researcher to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to inform and influence policy development within the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of manufacturing practices and policies, ensuring they align with both local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive research on manufacturing policies, regulations, and industry trends within the UAE and globally.
- Analyze data and gather insights to support the development of evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, government entities, and academic institutions to gather diverse perspectives and data.
- Prepare detailed reports, white papers, and policy briefs that convey research findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Monitor emerging trends and changes in manufacturing policies and practices, providing timely updates and analyses to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of policy proposals and advocacy strategies that address key issues impacting the manufacturing sector.
- Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to disseminate research findings and engage with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the manufacturing sector.
- Support the team in preparing presentations and materials for internal and external meetings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of relevant experience in policy research, analysis, or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing landscape in the UAE and global trends affecting the industry.
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with statistical analysis software is a plus.
