Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Politician with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to represent and advocate for the interests of our community in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping healthcare policies, promoting pharmaceutical innovation, and ensuring that the needs of the public are met through effective legislation and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advocate for policies that support the growth and sustainability of the pharmaceutical sector in Dubai, ensuring that healthcare solutions are accessible to all.
- Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to discuss and promote pharmaceutical initiatives and regulations.
- Analyze and interpret healthcare legislation, regulations, and policies to assess their impact on the pharmaceutical industry and public health.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote pharmaceutical innovations and improve healthcare delivery systems within the region.
- Lead public awareness campaigns to educate the community about pharmaceutical developments, healthcare access, and the importance of pharmaceutical research.
- Attend and participate in local, regional, and national meetings, conferences, and forums related to healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing the pharmaceutical sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment for healthcare improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and recommend adjustments to better serve the community's healthcare needs.
- Prepare and deliver speeches, presentations, and reports on pharmaceutical issues to various audiences, including government bodies, industry groups, and the general public.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Health Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public policy, government relations, or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successful advocacy and stakeholder engagement in a political or healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, market dynamics, and healthcare delivery systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions that benefit the community and industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for public service and community improvement.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in the UAE and the regulatory environment governing pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
