We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Postal Clerk to join our team in Sharjah. The Postal Clerk will be responsible for processing and sorting incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining accurate records of mail transactions, and ensuring timely delivery of mail to the appropriate recipients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Process outgoing mail, including stamping, weighing, and labeling
- Maintain accurate records of all mail transactions
- Assist customers with mailing services and inquiries
- Operate postage meter machines and other mail processing equipment
- Monitor mailroom supplies and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient mail processing and delivery
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a mailroom or postal service setting
- Familiarity with postage meter machines and mail processing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of postal regulations and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Certification in mail processing or postal services
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages
