Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Postal Worker to join our Construction Division in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of correspondence, documents, and packages related to construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of postal regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mail Collection and Delivery: Efficiently collect, sort, and deliver mail, packages, and documents to various construction sites and offices within Abu Dhabi.
- Documentation Management: Handle sensitive and important documents related to construction projects, ensuring their secure delivery and proper record-keeping.
- Communication: Liaise with construction project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate the timely delivery of materials and correspondence.
- Logistics Coordination: Assist in coordinating logistics for the transportation of construction materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and postal regulations.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to management.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to mail services and deliveries.
- Compliance: Adhere to all postal regulations and company policies regarding mail handling and delivery processes.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a postal or logistics role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using postal and tracking software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg.
- Must possess a valid UAE driving license.
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites across Abu Dhabi.
