Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Advisor to join our healthcare team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to residents within a healthcare setting, ensuring their well-being and facilitating a positive living experience. The Residential Advisor will work closely with healthcare professionals to promote a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Resident Support and Engagement:
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive community atmosphere through activities and engagement initiatives.
- Conduct regular check-ins with residents to assess their well-being and identify any areas requiring assistance.

- Coordination with Healthcare Staff:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor residents’ health and wellness, reporting any significant changes or concerns.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and care plans.
- Assist in implementing healthcare protocols and ensuring adherence to safety and health regulations.

- Crisis Management:
- Act as a first point of contact during emergencies, providing immediate support and intervention as required.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies to address resident challenges effectively.

- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents’ activities, incidents, and health-related information.
- Prepare regular reports for management on resident engagement and overall community health.
- Assist with scheduling and organizing community events, workshops, and educational sessions.

- Training and Development:
- Conduct orientation sessions for new residents, introducing them to community guidelines and available resources.
- Facilitate workshops and training for residents to promote life skills, health education, and personal development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in a residential advisory or healthcare support role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare practices, resident care, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Skills and Competencies:

- Empathy and compassion towards residents and their families.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Working Conditions:

- The role may require evening and weekend shifts to accommodate residents’ needs.
- The Residential Advisor will work in a healthcare environment and may be exposed to various medical conditions.
