Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Programmer to join our dynamic team in Ajman’s retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics programming, a passion for technology, and a desire to innovate within the retail industry. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing robotic solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement software for robotic systems and automation solutions tailored for retail operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the specific needs of retail processes and identify opportunities for robotic automation.
- Program and configure robotic systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance and reliability in the retail environment.
- Conduct testing and debugging of robotic applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Monitor and maintain robotic systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies, integrating new solutions as appropriate.
- Document programming processes, system configurations, and maintenance procedures for future reference and training.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source necessary components and software solutions for robotic implementation.
- Participate in project management activities, ensuring timelines and objectives are met throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in robotics programming or automation within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with a strong understanding of robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS, ROS2).
- Experience with robotic hardware, sensors, and actuators commonly used in retail applications.
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts as they apply to robotics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with retail operations and the challenges faced in the sector is a plus.
