We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Librarian to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The School Librarian will be responsible for managing and organizing the school library, providing resources and support to students and teachers, and promoting literacy and a love of reading within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the school library, including cataloging and shelving books, maintaining an organized and welcoming space for students and teachers.
- Develop and maintain a collection of resources that support the curriculum and the interests of the students.
- Assist students and teachers in locating and selecting appropriate resources for research and recreational reading.
- Provide instruction and support in information literacy skills, including research, citation, and digital literacy.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources and services into the curriculum.
- Plan and implement library programs and activities to promote reading and literacy.
- Stay current on trends in librarianship and educational technology, and incorporate new ideas and technologies into library services.
- Supervise and train library assistants and student volunteers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.

- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and library management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
