Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Advisor to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, specializing in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project delivery, and strategic planning, bringing valuable insights and expertise to guide our projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic direction and expert advice on construction projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.

2. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate effective communication and relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in construction projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout all construction processes.

6. Performance Analysis: Monitor project performance and conduct thorough analyses to recommend improvements and efficiencies in construction processes and methodologies.

7. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the team.

8. Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the construction industry to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.

9. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management, outlining project status, challenges, and recommendations.

10. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 8 years of experience in construction management or advisory roles.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
