Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our systems and processes meet the evolving requirements of our organization and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new and existing systems.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit requirements from business users, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

2. System Analysis and Design:
- Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop functional specifications and design documents to guide the development and implementation of solutions.

3. Project Management:
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Facilitate discussions and presentations to stakeholders to obtain feedback and ensure that solutions meet business needs.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of systems.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users to ensure system readiness.

6. Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, system configurations, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of systems.

7. Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements and upgrades.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business systems analysis and telecommunications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, processes, and technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, Visio, JIRA, etc.).
