Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with specific expertise in real estate transactions, development projects, leasing agreements, and regulatory compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and property management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities within the real estate market.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, development, and operations, to facilitate smooth project execution and address legal concerns.
- Advise on regulatory compliance matters related to real estate development and investment, including zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
- Represent the company in negotiations, hearings, and disputes, working closely with external counsel as necessary.
- Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the real estate sector and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior legal staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the legal department.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience in corporate law with a focus on real estate.
- Strong knowledge of UAE real estate laws, regulations, and practices.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate contracts and agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
