Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Finance to lead our financial strategy and operations within the rapidly evolving Information Technology sector. This pivotal role will involve overseeing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management within the IT industry and demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities to drive financial performance and support the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy Development: Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and growth plans. Analyze market trends and provide insights to the executive team for informed decision-making.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop accurate financial forecasts to ensure effective resource allocation and operational efficiency. Monitor performance against budgets and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team and the Board of Directors. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to accounting standards.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with business operations. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and sales, to provide financial insights that drive business performance. Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

- Cost Management: Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and enhance profitability. Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

- Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on thorough financial analysis. Support capital budgeting processes and manage the company’s investment portfolio.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in finance and accounting. Advocate for innovative financial management practices that enhance the overall performance of the finance function.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and accounting principles.
- Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior management.
- Proficient in financial software and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills are a must.
