Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah, specializing in the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, excellent leadership qualities, and a strategic mindset to drive financial performance and operational efficiency within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to align with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

2. Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during audits.

3. Cost Management:
- Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Implement cost control measures and monitor performance against budgetary targets.
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments to achieve financial goals.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with senior management, investors, and stakeholders to present financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.
- Participate in the development of business cases for new initiatives, investments, and projects.

6. Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions that could impact financial performance.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place to prevent fraud and financial misreporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably within the Transportation and Logistics industry.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
