Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Architect to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing information systems that enhance user experience, improve data management, and drive business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of information architecture principles, data modeling, and user-centered design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Information Architecture Design: Develop and implement comprehensive information architecture frameworks that support the organization’s strategic goals and improve data accessibility and usability across various platforms.

- User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights that inform design decisions. Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to visualize user needs and behaviors.

- Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models and schemas that align with business requirements. Collaborate with data architects and engineers to ensure data integrity and usability.

- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment of information architecture with overall project goals.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of information architecture frameworks, data models, user flows, and design standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and governance.

- Best Practices and Standards: Establish and promote best practices for information architecture and data management within the organization. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

- Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of information architecture initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information architecture, user experience design, or a related field, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, information retrieval, and content management systems.

- Proficiency in tools such as Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design software, as well as familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with software development processes.

- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in information architecture and user experience.
