Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of manufacturing projects and investments, analyzing financial performance, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the overall portfolio value. This role requires a combination of analytical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of manufacturing projects and investments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to assess the performance of portfolio assets, including return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR).

- Market Research: Perform comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the manufacturing sector, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

- Performance Reporting: Develop and present regular performance reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for portfolio optimization.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to prepare annual budgets and forecasts for the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with portfolio investments and projects, recommending mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership, to communicate portfolio performance and address any concerns or challenges.

- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategic plans for the portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth, divestiture, or restructuring.

- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance portfolio management processes and tools, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio analysis, financial analysis, or investment management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with portfolio management software and tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including market trends, key performance indicators, and regulatory considerations.

- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
