Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategy Consultant to join our dynamic team in the Retail sector based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail operations, market dynamics, and strategic planning. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creativity, and interpersonal skills to drive impactful business solutions for our clients in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to enhance business performance and drive growth for retail clients. Utilize market insights and competitive analysis to inform recommendations.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the retail sector. Present findings and actionable insights to clients.

- Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients by understanding their business challenges and providing tailored strategic solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams.

- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams on various consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.

- Change Management: Support clients in managing organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including white papers, case studies, and presentations, to showcase the firm’s expertise in retail strategy.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, with a focus on the retail sector.
- Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and managing client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks and methodologies, including SWOT analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, and market segmentation.
- Experience with data analytics tools and software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
