Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UX Researcher to join our dynamic team focused on transforming the agricultural landscape through innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in user research methodologies and a passion for improving user experiences in the agriculture sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping products that will have a significant impact on farmers, agribusinesses, and the overall agricultural ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct User Research: Lead comprehensive user research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and field studies to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points related to agricultural technology.

- Data Analysis: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and patterns that inform design decisions and product development. Present findings to stakeholders in compelling and actionable formats.

- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate user insights into product roadmaps and design processes.

- Create User Personas and Journey Maps: Develop detailed user personas and journey maps to represent the diverse needs and experiences of agricultural users, ensuring a user-centered approach in all design and development efforts.

- Design Research Frameworks: Establish and maintain research frameworks and best practices, ensuring consistency and rigor in all UX research activities across projects.

- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends in UX research, technology, and agriculture. Share insights with the team to inspire innovative approaches and solutions.

- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of the UX research team by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, preferably within the agriculture or technology sectors.

- Proven expertise in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to choose the appropriate methodologies based on project needs.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate research findings to diverse audiences.

- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with design thinking principles.

- A passion for agriculture and a desire to improve the user experience for those in the agricultural sector.
